Guided hike from the Asiago Observatory to the INAF OAPd Observing Station at Cima Ekar

Mount Ekar (1364 m.s.l.) is reached from Asiago via forest roads and trails (E difficulty). Average time: 3-4 hours round trip; the uphill elevation gain is about 350 meters. Trekking equipment is necessary, particularly comfortable shoes (preferably hiking boots).

The excursion will be organized over two days and is voluntary. Each night, two groups will observe at the telescope, while the other two groups will be free the following morning to participate in the hike to Cima Ekar. The schedule will rotate so that all participants have the opportunity to join the excursion without missing their observing duties.
